Ανακλυσμός, Anaklusmos, "Riptide" in English. Riptide normally takes on the form of a capped pen. When uncapped, it becomes a sword made of Celestial Bronze. Riptide will always return to Percy's pocket unless it is purposely left behind.
  • Celestial Bronze is able to cut through gods, demigods, titans, and monsters. However, it will harmlessly pass through mortals due to the inability to hurt humans.
ἀμβροσία, Ambrosia food of the gods. It takes on the form of small bars. Contrary to myth, consuming it does not make you mortal. Instead, ambrosia has healing properties and will taste like the consumer's favorite food. Mortals and monsters cannot handle ambrosia and will die upon consumption. Demigods can eat small amounts but must be careful. Ambrosia can make a demigod feverish and too much will turn their blood to fire and bones to sand. Minor injuries will heal almost instantly but larger injuries will take a few days.
νέκταρ, nectar, drink of the gods. It looks like apple juice. Has the same qualities as ambrosia.
Sand dollar, a seemingly ordinary sand dollar given to Percy on his 15th birthday. It has the power to purify water though it is limited-- it can't completely purify constantly polluted waters like the East and Hudson.
