ΠOWERS AND ΑBILITIES

□ | hyperawareness, Percy is extremely aware of his surroundings, able to see everything even down to small details like how an opponent's muscles tense up to determine how they are going to attack. Even though he can process everything, it can some times take him a try or two to come up with a successful reaction. This ability is most obvious in battle. While it can also come in use outside of battle, for the most part, he comes off as unfocused and impulsive, resulting in mortals diagnosing him with ADHD. |
□ | ancient greek, Percy's brain is "hardwired" to read Ancient Greek which he can translate naturally. He struggles reading English where the words tend to move around and become illegible. As a result, mortals have diagnosed him with dyslexia.
|
□ | natural combat skill, combined with his hyperawareness, Percy has natural combative skills. He can read his opponents and hold his own in battle. His weapon of choice is a sword but he will also use a shield when necessary. He fights well solo and in a team. His style is described as unpredictable. |
□ | semi-prophetic dreams, when demigods dream, they are rarely just dreams. Percy can dream about events in the past, events happening elsewhere at the same time, and even possible events for the future. In some dreams, he is merely an observer, in others, he takes on the form of another character within a dream. While dreams often have meaning, Percy often doesn't understand what they mean at first. In dreams where he is merely an observer, his presence can some times be sensed and chased away which will result in him waking up. |
□ | hydrokinesis, as the son of Poseidon, Percy can manipulate water. He can create great waves, walls of water, and other shapes. He can manipulate the water in ice and snow. Percy is also able to create water from petrified seashells and even thin hair. Creating water takes a lot of concentration and energy; the more water he creates, the greater the strain on his body until he, presumably, begins to feel pain or exhaustion. He can also walk on water or make water solid for others to travel on, however, this exhausts him. |
□ | zoolingualism, Percy can communicate with all sea creatures, mortal and mythological. He can also communicate with horses since Poseidon created horses. These creatures regard Percy with great respect, often calling him "Lord." They are also naturally attracted and aware of who he is, often coming to him for help or coming to his aid. |
□ | water resistance, even if he has been underwater, Percy will always come out dry unless he wills it otherwise. He is also immune to water pressure, able to swim down to great depths without any problem. Likewise, even if he were to fall from a great height and into water, he wouldn't be harmed. |
□ | healing, when Percy comes in contact with water, his wounds will heal. Time varies depending on the severity of the wound. This also applies to poison. |
□ | swimming, naturally, Percy is a strong swimmer. He can also breathe under water. He can separate the oxygen from water to create air bubbles for companions to breathe into. |
□ | limited powers, Percy possesses very limited control over earthquakes, volcanoes, and storms. For storms, he can manipulate wind and even generate lightning on one occasion, the latter which comes as a great surprise to him. Note this was done while under the effects of the Achilles Curse. He can also resist high heat but the greater the temperature, the more pain he feels. |
□ | sea awareness, when at sea, Percy will always know his bearings down to the coordinates. He cannot get lost at sea. |
□ | sailing, he has a natural understanding of ships and can control even large ships with his mind. |
□ | "wolf glare," having literally been raised by wolves for some time, he's now developed a "wolf glare" that tells people no matter how bad you think you are, i'm worse. It supposed to be able to scare off people. |
